Cira Discovery Sciences and Wistar Institute to Collaborate on Proteomics-Based Diagnostics

NEW YORK, Feb. 23 (GenomeWeb News) - Cira Discovery Sciences and researchers at The Wistar Institute will collaborate to develop diagnostic tests for cancer and lung disease, Cira said today.

 

Proteomics researchers at Wistar, led by David Speicher, will use Cira's computational methods to discover patterns in large proteomics data sets.

 

Cira, based in Philadelphia and founded last year, recently received a seed round of investment from BioAdvance.
