Chip Leveille and Mark Solakian

Chip Leveille has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing and Mark Solakian has been named vice president and general counsel at Helicos Bioscience, the company said this week.
 
Leveille previously served for six years at Affymetrix where he served as vice president in three separate capacities – pharmaceutical business, core technologies group, and corporate marketing.
 

Solakian is also an Affy alumn. He most recently served as vice president and chief corporate counsel for Affymetrix. Prior to joining Affy, Solakian was an attorney at Goodwin Procter in Boston. He holds an AB from Harvard College and a JD from Boston College Law School.
