Cepheid Pockets $376K Grant to Develop M. Tuberculosis Diagnostic

NEW YORK, Aug. 21 - Cepheid today said it has won a $376,000 grant from the US National Institutes of Health to co-develop a diagnostic test for Mycobacetria tuberculosis.

 

The project, a collaboration with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, calls for Cepheid to use its GeneXpert platform to develop test protocols, procedures, and reagents.
