Centocor Gains Access to GeneNews' Biomarkers

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – GeneNews today said that it has signed an agreement with Centcor granting the drug firm selected access to research from its osteoarthritis genomic biomarker program.
Heiner Dreissman, interim CEO and lead director of GeneNews, said in a statement that the firm’s Sentinel Principle, its biomarker-discovery platform, was validated around osteoarthritis. He added that the collaboration is “a source of non-dilutive funding that will contribute to our commercialization efforts.”
Further terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
