Cengent Therapeutics and University of Alabama to Offer Joint Structure Determination Service

NEW YORK, Feb. 23 (GenomeWeb News) - Cengent Therapeutics and the Center for Biophysical Sciences and Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham will jointly offer a target/drug-lead structure determination service, Cengent said today.


CBSE's existing high-throughput X-ray crystallography service for industry will be complemented by Cengent's computational Gene to Leads technology.


In addition, Cengent will make use of CBSE's crystallography capabilities for its internal drug discovery program.


Cengent Therapeutics emerged from the fusion of Structural Bioinformatics and GeneFormatics last year.
