Celera Genomics Narrows Loss

NEW YORK, July 23 - The Celera Genomics Group of Applera this morning reported a net loss of $19.4 million for its fourth quarter ending June 30, compared to a net loss of $28.8 million for the same period last year.

 

The Rockville, Md.-based company had revenues of $21.5 million for the quarter, compared to $28.1 million for the year-ago quarter.

 

The company had R&D expenses of $28.5 million, compared to $36.7 million for the fourth quarter of 2002.
