Bruker Shares Slide 7.4 Percent Despite 90-Percent Profit Jump

NEW YORK, May 3 (GenomeWeb News) - Shares in Bruker Daltonics were down 7.39 percent, or $.44, at $5.51, despite the company posting a 90-percent jump in first-quarter profits.


As GenomeWeb News reported this morning, Bruker said first-quarter revenue declined less than 1 percent to $74.4 million from $74.9 year over year.


Profit in the quarter rose to $776,000 from $417,000 in the year-ago period.
