Bruker BioSciences’ stock reached a new 52-week high of $12.24 this week after the firm announced that it would acquire affiliated company Bruker BioSpin for $914 million (see related article, this issue). Bruker’s shares rose 38.2 percent for the five-day trading week ended Tuesday to lead all gainers in the BCW Index.
