Bristol-Myers Picks Platform Computing IT to Help Build New Desktop Grid

NEW YORK, Aug. 20 - Platform Computing yesterday said that Bristol-Myers Squibb has chosen its ActiveCluster platform to help build a large life science-based desktop grid system.


Platform said the arrangement, which will put the ActiveCluster initially on several thousand desktops across BMS research sites around the northern United States, will give the drug company the ability to integrate its Linux servers with its desktops.
