BioWisdom, InforSense to Integrate SRS and KDE

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) - InforSense said yesterday that it has signed an agreement with BioWisdom under which it will integrate BioWisdom's SRS bioinformatics software with its KDE workflow analytics platform.

As part of the agreement, BioWisdom will join InforSense’s Open Workflow Partner Network.

SRS is a search interface for hundreds of biological databases. Cambridge, UK-based BioWisdom acquired the software as part of its purchase of Lion Bioscience’s bioinformatics business in 2006.

Michael Stapleton, BioWisdom’s chief business officer, said that the integration agreement “is a result of strong customer requests for the two systems to be used together."
