BioWisdom and Linguamatics Collaborate on Literature Mining Project for AstraZeneca

NEW YORK, Oct. 24 (GenomeWeb News) - Cambridge, UK-based BioWisdom and Linguamatics announced today that they are collaborating on a project to develop an ontology-based text mining program to help scientists search research literature.


The project was commissioned by AstraZeneca, with the goal of enhancing the pharma company's own text mining capabilities.


Linguamatics will contribute its natural language processing systems to the collaboration, while BioWisdom will provide its ontologies, the companies said in a statement.
