Biotique Systems Pens Marketing Pact in Japan; Opens European Office

NEW YORK, April 3 - Biotique Systems said yesterday that Japan-based Tomy Digital Biology exclusively market and distribute its BLIS product suite in that country.

 

"We look forward to introducing these novel technologies and solutions to the Japanese life science marketplace, as well as to designing integration solutions for our customers based on complimentary technologies that we offer or distribute, such as the GeneSpring solution from Silicon Genetics," said Ken Tominaga, president and chief executive officer of Tomy Digital Biology.

 

The company also said it has opened a new European office in Basel, Switzerland. Claudio Schmid will become vice president and general manager for the new office.
