BioFocus to Offer ChanTest Cell Line Library, Services

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – BioFocus today said that it has signed an agreement to offer ChanTest's cell line library and Channel Panel profiling services.

Saffron Walden, UK-based BioFocus said that the alliance will expand its offerings in the fields of ion channel, GPCR, and transporter targets for drug discovery. ChanTest's cell line library contains more than 200 products, BioFocus noted.

Chris Mathes, chief commercial officer of Cleveland-based ChanTest, said that the collaboration "fits well with ChanTest's integrated CRO strategy."

Further terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
