Shares in Bio-Rad Laboratories gained nearly 10 percent this past week after the firm reported first-quarter revenue growth of 8.3 percent on a currency neutral basis (see Briefs). The firm led all 10 gainers for the tracking period ended Tuesday. Fisher Scientific, which announced this week an agreement to merge with Thermo Electron, also rose a robust 7.7 percent. Bruker BioSciences led decliners with a drop of 6.2 percent.
