Beyond Genomics Embarks on Toxicology Pilot Project for AstraZeneca

NEW YORK, Feb. 3 (GenomeWeb News) - Beyond Genomics will embark on a pilot project with AstraZeneca to discover markers of drug-induced toxicity, the company said today.

 

In the study, Beyond Genomics, of Waltham, Mass., will use its systems biology approaches to analyze transcript, protein, and metabolite data.

 

Last month, Beyond Genomics signed a research deal with GlaxoSmithKline, resulting from a pilot study that started at the end of 2002.
