BCW Index Up Slightly for the Week

The BCW Index climbed 1.59 percent for the trading week ended Tuesday. Only five of the components of the Index declined for the week, and none of them dropped more than 1.6 percent. Stratagene led gainers for the tracking period, closing up 6.7 percent.

In comparison, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained .9 percent, while both the Nasdaq and Nasdaq Biotech Index rose 2.6 percent.
