Bayer and Genedata Expand Bioinformatics Collaboration in US, Germany

NEW YORK, March 7 (GenomeWeb News) - Bayer Healthcare has expanded its collaboration with Genedata to install its software at multiple sites in the USand Germany.


Bayer will integrate Genedata's Expressionist and Phylosopher software at multiple sites for the mechanistic analysis of cardiovascular and cancer biomarker genes and gene-expression data for prediction of toxicological effects, Genedata said.


Financial terms were not disclosed.


Bayer helped develop Phylosopher and first became a Genedata customer in 1999.
