NEW YORK, March 29 (GenomeWeb News) - B-Bridge International has raised $4.2 million in funding, mostly from Japanese institutional investors, the company said today.
B-Bridge, which is based in Sunnyvale, Calif., and provides tools and technology for life science research, said it will use the funding to expand its research and development capabilities, and to develop a "network infrastructure" to provide researchers with information about its tools and services.
The majority of the funding came from Bio-sight Capital of Osaka, Hokkaido Venture Capital of Sapporo, and the Marubeni Corporation of Tokyo, as well as from current shareholders.
