Avalon to License Ingenuity s Pathway Software

NEW YORK, Jan. 10 (GenomeWeb News) - Avalon Pharmaceuticals will license the Pathway Analysis 3.0 application from Ingenuity Systems to facilitate drug discovery, the companies said today.


Avalon will apply the software to its AvalonRx platform to identify biomarkers, targets, and novel compounds. The company will also have access to the Ingenuity Knowledge Base, which contains 1.4 million biological relationships between genes and proteins, cells, tissues, and diseases.


Financial details were not disclosed.
