AniGenics Now Pyxis Genomics

NEW YORK, June 7-The Chicago-based animal genomics firm AniGenics has changed its name to Pyxis Genomics, the company said yesterday.

 

The company focuses on identifying genes of interest in agricultural and domestic animals, and using that information to guide animal husbandry

 

It has a collaboration with Lynx to identify SNPs relevant to food animal breeding and growth.
