... and Taps Local Bioinformatics Shop to Sell IT Tools in Taiwan

NEW YORK, Aug. 1 - Lion Bioscience today said that Taiwanese bioinformatics company DigiGenomics will resell all of its IT technology in Taiwan and also use some of the goodies for its own biopharma clientele.

 

Specifically, DigiGenomics will use Lion's arrayScout expression-data analysis tool and the SRS integration platform on microarray data for its biotech and pharma customers, Lion said.

 

Taiwan, home to roughly 23 million people, has more than 100 biotech companies and 50 pharma firms driving a $7.5 million annual market, according to Lion.
