Amersham, Thermo Pen Sales and Marketing Partnership in Proteomics

NEW YORK, Feb. 6 - Amersham Biosciences and Thermo Electron will co-market and sell mass spectrometry-based proteomics technologies, the companies said yesterday.


Initially, the firms will co-market Amersham's Ettan MALDI-ToF Pro mass-spec and a line of ion trap mass-spec systems made by Thermo Finnigan, including the ProteomeXTM. Amersham and Thermo said they also "expect to collaborate" on new proteomics instruments, software, and reagents.
