Amersham, Swiss Bioinformatics Firm GeneBio Launch Bioinformatics Partnership

NEW YORK, Jan. 8-Amersham Biosciences and Geneva Bioinformatics will partner to offer bioinformatics tools for proteomics research, the two companies said today.

 

Through the partnership, Amersham will become the exclusive distributor of GeneBio's Bioinformatics and Proteomics Training Program, which teaches researchers how best to use bioinformatics and data analysis tools.

 

Further details and financial specifics of the collaboration were not revealed.

 

GeneBio is a Swiss bioinformatics company that has partnerships with the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics, the University Hospital of Geneva and the University of Geneva.
