Ambion to Supply Wyeth with RNA

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 4 - Ambion's diagnostic division will develop and manufacture RNA for Wyeth, the company said today.


Austin, Texas-based Ambion RNA Diagnostics will optimize processes for synthesizing long RNA molecules and translation into protein, and manufacture the cGMP-grade RNA transcripts for Wyeth's use in its vaccine program, the company said.


Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
