NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Agilent Technologies today said that it has completed the acquisition of BioSystem Development for an undisclosed sum.
The firm announced earlier this month that it would acquire the privately held maker of the AssayMAP microchromatography platform.
BioSystem Development, based in Madison, Wis., currently supplies Agilent's Automation Solutions business with AssayMap cartridges that are used with Agilent's Bravo liquid handling platform for protein purification and characterization workflows.
The agreement was announced at the same time Agilent said it had acquired next-generation sequencing sample preparation firm Halo Genomics, formerly known as Olink Genomics.
