Agilent Adds Incyte Sequence, Annotation Information to Chips

NEW YORK, Nov. 1-Agilent has added Incyte's probe sequence and annotation information to its cDNA and oligonucleotide microarrays, the company said on Oct. 28.

Under this agreement, Agilent's microarray customers will now have access to probe sequences and to sequence annotation, including data on protein structure, function, and disease association.

Previously, the two companies had an arrangement so that Agilent could design gene probes with Incyte clones and database information.
