Agencourt Studies SNPs for Millennium

NEW YORK, June 3-Beverly, Mass.-based Agencourt Bioscience said today that it has struck a deal to provide SNP discovery, genotyping and sequencing services for Millennium Pharmaceuticals.

 

Millennium will provide sequences of interest to Agencourt, which will resequence these with samples from an ethnically diverse range of people in order to get new data on SNPs.

 

Financial details were not discussed. The agreement is not exclusive.
