Affymetrix to Offer More of its Patents for Licensing, Sale

NEW YORK, April 6 (GenomeWeb News) - Affymetrix is offering more of its patents for licensing and sale, the company said yesterday.

 

The patents cover technologies for DNA and protein arrays, scanners and detectors, microfluidics, and beads to measure nucleic acids or peptide binding. Affymetrix is making these patents, which include recently issued ones, available for licensing. It also offers some patents "in selected areas" for sale.
