Affy to Request Hearing After Nasdaq Says Firm Is Not in Compliance

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) - Affymetrix said yesterday it would request a hearing after the Nasdaq Exchange said the company was not in compliance with the requirements to remain listed on the exchange.

As expected, the Nasdaq issued Affy a letter warning of its possible delisting after the company filed its second quarter financial results late.

Affymetrix shares will remain listed on the Nasdaq stock market until the Listing Qualifications Panel makes a decision.
