Affy, Monsanto to Co-Develop Arabidopsis Array

NEW YORK, March 26 - Affymetrix and Monsanto on Tuesday said they plan to co-develop a single microarray that represents the Arabidopsis genome.

Monsanto said it will use this new array as part of its high-throughput discovery program.


The ag-bio giant also has licensed Affy's GeneChip technology to study plant development and disease.
Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.
