AcroMetrix to Supply America s Blood Centers With Standards and Controls for Nucleic Acid, EIA Testing

NEW YORK, Jan. 6 (GenomeWeb News) - AcroMetrix will provide quality control products to America's BloodCentersfor nucleic acid and EIA testing, AcroMetrix said today.

 

Terms of the deal call for Benicia, Calif-based AcroMetrix to supply its products for the 11 infectious disease tests required to be performed on blood donations at the 76 blood centers in the ABC system, the company said. The tests include Abbott's PRISM immunoassay system, the company added. 

 

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
