ABI and Deloitte Consulting to Jointly Provide Informatics Services for Life Sciences

NEW YORK, Feb. 28 (GenomeWeb News) - Applied Biosystems and Deloitte Consulting will jointly provide services to deliver informatics products for life sciences industries, the companies said today.


Under the agreement, the two partners plan to provide laboratory integration, instrument integration, protocol development and deployment, application development, workflow automation, and data management and analysis for a number of applications, including basic and clinical research and forensics. They already have a number of early-adopter customers. The companies did not disclose them in a news release.


In addition to providing services, ABI and Deloitte plan to introduce "scalable, turnkey solutions" sometime this year.
