Abbott Will Market Atria Genetics HLA Typing Tests

NEW YORK, Jan. 12 - Abbott Laboratories will distribute HLA tissue typing tests for Atria Genetics, the company said today.

 

Abbott, based in Abbott Park, Ill., obtained exclusive marketing and distribution rights for Atria's DNA sequencing-based HLA typing tests outside the US, as well as for its HLA analyte specific reagents within the US. Abbott will distribute these tests through its alliance with Celera Diagnostics.

 

Atria, based in South San Francisco, is doing business as Forensic Analytical/Molecular Genetics.
