Partners Healthcare to Move Cardiomyopathy Genetic Test from Microarray to Illumina HiSeq
The Pan Cardiomyopathy Panel will comprise 46 genes involved in inherited cardiomyopathies and will run on the Illumina HiSeq platform, supplemented by some Sanger sequencing. The lab is also working on next-gen sequencing panels for other disease areas.
