UC Riverside Study Reveals Rational and Emotional Predictors for DTC Genetic Testing Choices
The study suggested that the choice to use direct-to-consumer genetic tests is influenced by perceived barriers and benefits, anticipation of regret over the testing decision, and whether the available background information is positive or negative.
