LabCorp Expanding Albany Footprint with New Service Site in Upstate NY

LabCorp is opening a patient-service center in Glens Falls, NY, near the capital Albany.

The new facility, which will be located near Glens Falls Hospital, will open "on or about" May 15," though it "may be able to open a little before that," according to a local news report.

Located an hour's drive north of Albany in eastern New York, the facility will primarily draw blood and collect urine samples. It is one among several the reference lab runs in the region.

It has contracts with "most heath insurance companies" in and around Albany, according to the report.
