NHGRI-led Team Sequences More than a Dozen Metastatic Melanoma Exomes
By sequencing the exomes of 14 metastatic melanoma samples and as many matched normal tissues, American researchers have found new, recurring mutations in the skin cancer and verified some past genetic findings.
