Penn Researchers ID Acetylated Tau as Potential Protein Biomarker for Alzheimer's, Related Disorders
Their findings suggest that acetylated tau might be a useful addition to more established AD biomarkers like amyloid-beta, tau, and phosphorylated tau and could help clinicians distinguish between various forms of frontotemporal lobar degeneration.
