Casting Doubt on GWAS, Duke Team Advocates Sequencing-First Approach to ID Rare Causal Variants
Lead author Qianqian Zhu said that the study's findings suggest it would be "more reasonable to sequence a group of cases first to identify causal variants, then genotype a large cohort using arrays to verify those findings."
