NIA Study Demonstrates ApoE's Potential as Blood-Based Protein Biomarker for Alzheimer's
Comparing plasma proteome data to PET scan measurements of beta-amyloid plaques, researchers found that blood levels of the protein ApoE were strongly associated with levels of beta-amyloid deposits in the brain.
