Helicos Adds Illumina, Life Tech as Defendants in PacBio Patent Lawsuit
Helicos said that the five patents in the suit cover sequencing-by-synthesis methods that use labeled nucleotides, and that specific claims in them apply both to real-time sequencing and to stepwise sequencing approaches.
