Draft Bill Proposes FDA Create New Division to Review 'Advanced Personalized Diagnostics'

The draft bill, under development by Senator Orrin Hatch, would create a so-called Center for Advanced Diagnostics Evaluation and Research that would be responsible for evaluating a new category of tests called "advanced personalized diagnostics," a term comprising genetic test kits and laboratory-developed tests.
