With Draft Neandertal Sequence Complete, Researchers Aim for 'Finished Quality Genome'
Researchers working on the Neandertal sequencing project plan to increase their coverage from about 1-fold to 20- to 30-fold and to increase the portion of the genome sequenced from 60 percent to 100 percent.
