International Cancer Genome Consortium Moves into Whole-Genome Sequencing Faster than Expected
Due to falling sequencing prices, the consortium is moving from whole-exome to whole-genome sequencing faster than expected, said ICGC executive member Tom Hudson. He expects hundreds of cancer genomes to be sequenced by the end of the year.
