Maryland Slashes Stem Cell Budget by Another $3M in Plan to Trim $700M Budget Deficit

The state's Stem Cell Research Fund will shrivel by $3 million, leaving it with $12.4 million. That's about half of the $24 million available during the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2008.
