Q&A: U Vermont Researchers Using Proteomics to Investigate Evolution of Digestive Functions in Wasp Colonies

The proteomics portion of the research will be directed at deciphering the protein aspects of the division of labor that goes on in wasp colonies, and then to trace the evolution of this division. The research team will perform de novo sequencing of proteins, and integrate proteomics data with genomic and morphologic data.
