Rosetta Genomics has conditional approval for its miRview lung assay from New York State, the company announced. Rosetta's miRview assays are microRNA-based diagnostic tests for a suite of cancers, and the lung cancer test can distinguish four subtypes of the disease. New York is the only US state that requires additional review of lab-developed tests, Rosetta says, adding that it can now offer the test in all 50 states.
The Sample's sister publication GenomeWeb Daily News notes that Rosetta has filed a preliminary prospectus with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, outlining its intent for a public offering that could raise $35 million.
