Western Connecticut Health Network is currently seeking a Lead Pathology Research Associate to join our team. Under the supervision of the Lab Director, the LPRA will be responsible for coordinating the collection and processing of various specimens connected to the experimental studies. Responsibilities include tissue specimen collection and embedding methodologies, TMA preparation and processing, sectioning, development of immunofluorescence staining protocols and Quantitative image analysis. Experience in FISH is also desired. In addition, the Lead Pathology Research Associate will participate in pathology resident and medical student education by arranging and supervising research initiatives.

Requirements:
To qualify for this role, a Master’s Degree and minimum of three years of histology and immunohistochemistry related experience is required. The ideal Candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and research methodology skills.
