Job Description: 

Regional Manager – Boston, MA

Our Camera Products Group is currently seeking to fill 2 Regional Manager positions. 1 Regional Manager will work out of their home office but will need to be based in the Boston, MA area while the other will work out of our San Jose, CA office. The Regional Manager is responsible for dealer support and direct camera sales to university and research labs in the life sciences, physics and chemistry departments. This work includes organizing training for dealers, supporting demos, identifying key researchers in relevant fields, prospecting for new customers/applications, lead follow-up, territory sales management, gathering and reporting marketing feedback on products and understanding the competitive landscape. This position will earn a base salary plus commission.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and highly interested in all aspects of imaging, science and technology. This is an excellent opportunity to gain an advanced understanding of imaging technologies from design to implementation and to converse with accomplished professionals in all scientific disciplines.


Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience
• B.S. Degree in Biology, Physics, Chemistry,
Electrical/Biomedical Engineering or related field
• 3 years in a technical sales or marketing position
OR 2 years hands-on computational microscopy
• Ability to travel 25-40%
• 1 year experience in light microscopy
• Demonstrated aptitude for on-the-job learning of
new technical & scientific applications & concepts
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
and an ability to convey complex technical
• Demonstrated ability as self-starter with
excellent organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain
customer relationships
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience
• 2 years experience in life science, physics or
chemistry lab
• Sales training
• 1 year hands-on experience with imaging software
• Familiarity with Customer Resource Management
