The Clinical Engineer – Complaint Investigator provides customers with appropriate clinical and technical support and performs complaint investigation for our line of Class III Medical Device Products worldwide. As a part of this, the Complaint Investigator is performing thorough, analytical, and timely investigations of device complaints in accordance with Company policy, FDA regulations and regulations of other governmental agencies, as applicable. This will require you to work closely with Cyberonics sales and case management field teams in ensuring customers and patients receive appropriate clinical and technical support on Cyberonics devices, including training for medical professionals. As a Complaint Investigator at Cyberonics, you will balance great written and verbal communication skills, technical aptitude and interest, and your capacity to think outside of the box to become the go-to source for Cyberonics device related questions -- supporting patients, caregivers and physicians while helping to generate new ideas for future product development.

What it takes to be a part of the team at Cyberonics:

Entry level Complaint Investigators will have up to 2 years of experience in a technical environment within the healthcare, medical device or pharmaceutical industries. A BS degree in engineering or life science is preferred. Top Complaint Investigators will already possess experience working in a regulated field in a complaint investigative role.
